the story so far:

the RAC have rung to say they can't get my GTS repaired until Monday but I've already located a new belt and all I need is someone to collect it from Maastricht...so now a taxi has been booked to pick me up and take me to Maastricht...collect the belt and then take me to the garage where my scooter was taken last night...

the hotel where they wanted me to stay until Monday...no thanks...I have a dirty noisy rally site to get to...

all packed up and waiting for the taxi...

all that was left of the rubber band...

4,000 miles only...

job done...all loaded and ready for a second attempt at getting to the rally...albeit a day late...a big thanks goes out to the boys that own this garage for the loan of their tools and workshop...

almost there...finally made it to Germany...

GTS is running good again...

just had to take in the beautiful scenery...
