waiting on Di to catch up with me...we were together until we came upon a multi vehicle pile up in the roadwork's...it gave me a chance to give my sore arse an extra half hour rest...
there she is...parked and ready to attack Burger King...
love this view...
stopped here last year to take in the view...
also stopped here on the way to Kelso this year for a whole different reason...the 2014 GTS started to overheat a little...
I always feel safer with Di following me...especially the slow ride up to the top of Shap summit...Di likes the 70 mph of the GTS rather than the 55-60 mph of the PX lololol...
if you look close enough you can just make out from the position of the clutch lever that the clutch cable broke as I pulled into the hotel carpark...
taken with Di's phone...there were a few more pictures with my arse hanging out but this one will do...I always carry enough spares for almost any breakdown which includes a stator plate & CDi...and of course the tools to do the job...plus a few pairs of nitrile gloves...
almost there...just checking the up and down play in the lever...
looking well pleased with myself...easy job that took less than an hour...with a little help from Di (can you pass me this and that while I'm lying on the floor)...
