back to the stones from yesterday...Di's brother - Derek - died last year (at just 47 years of age) while we were up here...

Derek lived just 30 miles away from here in Paisley and had never visited Millport...

so this morning we were in a local shop buying felt pens after we'd already scoured the beach for a decent rock...

with a bit of luck it'll still be visible next year...

let's hope it withstands the winter weather!!..

it's off down to the custom show next...

nice to see a break in the bad weather we're having this year...

it's a little quieter than normal...I think the expectant bad weather has had something to do with that...
