the police pulled us all off the motorway thinking we were on "mopeds"...

it rained all day...from the second we got off the ferry until the time we pulled up at the hotel...

we hadn't got tickets so they charged us the full rate from Paris...

day one (on French soil) - as far as riding is concerned - is over...scooters unloaded and parked up for the night...

day one done and dusted...no matter how much rain we had we still had time to smile...

this young lady was so helpful...put all our soaking wet clothes in the hotels dryer for us...
