up nice and early and the scooter is still here...

the apartment...top floor...no lift...killed me to get all my kit up there...

it's nice and early (just coming up to seven) and I have to meet up with Di, Jo, Craig and Jack (who's now jumped on a plane) in Calci around midday...

I fuelled up yesterday evening so it's straight on with the journey...

oh...and I now have my camera back connected to my phone after reinstalling the "SnapBridge" app last night...should have tried it days ago...

first thousand miles well and truly done on this GTS...no better way to run a scooter in!!..

just shy of a thousand miles done over the previous four days...next stop Pontedera...

I haven't really been keeping track of daily mileage but this is yesterdays total...I think it's a lot less today!!..

this is the point where I wished that I'd put my thermals on...in the built up area of Milan plus the early morning sunshine it didn't feel that cold...

two hours into the final day of my journey there and it's still f*ck*n freezing...

couldn't be arsed with the thermal bottoms but just a half strip and on with the top...I got some funny looks...

another stop for fuel and more beautiful scenery...

looks like I've finally left the snow capped mountains behind...
